Werewolves

Werewolves have three basic forms. In human form they have increased strength, eyesight, hearing, and healing (none as good as in their were form). In wolf form they have all the characteristics of a wolf with the intelligence of a human. In were form they are part wolf, part man with the superior strength, speed, agility, and senses of the wolf but the intelligence and size of a human. In this form healing is almost instantaneous. However they have a weakness to wolfsbane and if silver causes a mortal wound they can not heal it. Werewolves are natural enemies of were-cats. Their feud has lasted since the two races first come into contact. At one time werewolves guarded vampires during the day and during a full moon vampires ensured that werewolves stayed caged. All of that changed when werewolf, whose alliance with the then growing feral army was unknown, attacked and killed the vampires he was supposed to guard. The vampires seeking retribution for his massacre of the family demanded him and his family be turned over for justice. The werewolves denied the vampires request and instead killed him themselves. This did not appease the vampires who wanted to make a statement that the killing of their children would result in swift action against the culprit and the culprit’s family. This created a rift between the two races which has never been mended. Some werewolves allied with the feral army and began to systematically destroy vampire safe havens, forcing the King of the werewolves to decree them rogues to be hunted and killed. Now rogues ally with both the feral vampires and were-cats that they hate in order to destroy the vampires they hate more. Rogues figure when the war is over they can then turn on their current allies. Because of the growing number and the unified army the werewolves agree to unite with vampires and were-cats against their common enemy. This keeps all sides from fighting the feral army as well as eachother.
