Were-cats
Like werewolves the were-cats have three basic forms. In human form they have increased strength, eyesight, hearing, and healing (none as good as in their were-cat form). They also have an increase in agility. In cat form they have all the characteristics of the cat they turn into with the intelligence of a human. There are as many different types of were-cats as they are big cats in the world. In were-cat form they are part cat, part man with the superior strength, speed, agility, and senses of the cat but the intelligence and size of a human. In this form healing is almost instantaneous. However they have a weakness to wolfsbane and if silver causes a mortal wound they can not heal it. Despite the variety of were-cats they are united beneath one ruler and are each represented on a council of were-cats. Possibly because cats are dogs are natural enemies the were-cats do not associate with the were-wolves. If one species meets the other on the street they are wary and often fight ensues. However when many were-cats began to actively hunt and kill werewolves a law is passed. To actively hunt and kill a werewolf results in banishment, possibly death. When these banished were-cats begin to be link to feral vampires they are hunted for it is also against the law to unite with blood drinkers. By the time the extent of the alliance is discovered it is too late to stop the tide. Were-cats are forced to unite with their once enemies in order to fight against a unified army of vampires, weres, and other creatures. Were-cats resemble humans except for their uncanny eyes that are closer to a cat’s in appearance and color (blue, green, orange, yellow, gold). Their hair color tends to be the color of their cat form coat.
