Amazons

A group or warrior women who reside on a floating island called the Veiled Isle. This group of women have god like strength, speed, reflexes, stamina, durability, and healing. They also possess the ability to fly and regenerate. They possess an affinity for animals and they are skilled in all forms of combat. They do not keep to themselves, but keep the location of their island secret. Instead they are often seen in the mortal world without anyone knowing what they are. Because they look like normal women with no discernible differences they are often mistaken for mortals. All Amazon wear a pendant around their necks with the symbol of a crescent moon to represent Artemis. Lately some Amazons have started tattooing the symbol to their right shoulder instead of wearing the pendant. Because of this immortals can no longer easily identify them without the pendant.
